“Driving Passion” is a black and white documentary featuring Phyllis Krim speaking about her art and life, initially filmed in 1975 for Manhattan Cable Television.

The film is 30 minutes long and includes slide images of Phyllis’s artworks and her thoughts on gendered imagery, such as machines. It talks about her studies at the Art Students League under Will Barnet and her inclusion in the Brooklyn Museum’s 1975 exhibition “Works on Paper: Women Artists,” featuring Alice Neel. The work was filmed by Larry Warshaw.
