Dead Stop: Feminist Artist Legacies — TFAP@CAA 2023 Affiliated Society Session

Marie Williams Chant, TFI’s Director of Archives and Special Projects, is a panelist for the Dead Stop: Feminist Artist Legacies, a part of The Feminist Art Project’s Affiliated Society Session at the 2023 College Art Association Conference. This session will focus on strategies for legacy preservation, research methods, and feminist approaches that can be employed for artists who lacked the support needed to develop robust archives during their lifetime.

The panel’s chairs are Rachel Middleman and Connie Tell, and other panelists include Gabriela Aceves-Sepúlveda, Ferris Olin, and Celia Vara.
