This video was created for IMOW's MAMA: Motherhood Around the Globe exhibition. Patricia, now in her late 30s, is Adela’s adopted daughter. She works as a journalist. When Patricia was 19, she became pregnant and gave her baby up for adoption because she didn’t feel prepared to be a mother. She got married after college, and at 25, she gave birth to a son named Juan Felipe.
