Margarita Beccera Cano

Margarita Becerra Cano came to WSW from Colombia via SUNY-Stony Brook. She received an MFA from Syracuse University for Art Video Production, and did additional graduate work at Tulane. At WSW, Margarita’s artist’s book, Satanic Loves combined letterpress, photography, handmade paper and mixed media. Satanic Loves explores the historical manipulation of women’s sexuality by the Catholic Church.
